“The fairytale symbol of the summer is still being created and all visitors of Tatralandia can be part of the process until 6th August, when our Frog Prince is being crowned officially at 05:00pm. The Slovak record commissioner is going to be there at the ceremony as well. The construction of the fairytale frog has been created step by step. Its wooden core was covered with mesh at first and artists of various age groups have been applying paper to it in order to form typical frog features. In the final phase, the piece of work with the size of 2x4x6 metres will be coloured and varnished. We had been looking for a fairytale figure that would be magical, could live under the Tatras and mainly at water, in a water park. Let´s find out together if the Frog Prince gets kissed by a princess in the end. What we do know for sure, however, is the truth that nothing is as bad as it seems initially. An ugly and not very attractive frog changes to a handsome prince in the fairytale, only thanks to a girl who does not give up, has a good heart and is ready to help. This is how it works in real life as well. Kindness, persistence and love can change a lot of bad things,” said Zuzana Blaňárová from the marketing department of Tatralandia.

The summer in Tatralandia is groundbreaking and offers original professional theatre animations that make visitors feel they are part of fairytale stories. The message of magical days full of adventures and fun is spread by fairytale figures among water park visitors from the very morning. Children meet various friends from fairytales throughout the day and learn the anthem of Tatralandia along with the Snow White and Ariel, the Sea Princess. Those who love entertaining themselves can join the Little Red Riding Hood or lively bees Maja and Vilko. Jasmine teaches oriental dances and dancing pirates guarantee a lot of fun with parrot Rio and brave knights. There is also a clown who tells children where the fairytale figures are currently located and what they plan to do so that nobody gets lost in Tatralandia. The water park offers a lot of activities at during lunch and dinner times when kids can meet the Sleeping Beauty and the Puss in Boots. All children´s dreams become true in the fairytale world of Tatralandia.
