Tennis players Miloš Mečíř, Andrej Martin, Ján Krošlák, Karol Beck, Norbert Gombos, Lukáš Lacko, Igor Zelenay, Branislav Stankovič and others enjoyed a slalom race on the slope of Čučoriedky in Tatranská Lomnica last Saturday and helped support a good thing at the same time. They brought toys, T-shirts, signed tennis balls, sports equipment and personal presents for children from children´s homes under the Christmas tree in Grandhotel Praha in Tatranská Lomnica. “Besides the tennis players, the leader of the Aya band – Boris Lettrich and singer Tomáš Bezdeda have joined our collection as well. The public can join the First Christmas collection in the Tatras on 19th December when all presents will be handed over through the Filantropia Foundation to the representatives of the Children´s home of Spišská Belá and the Children´s home of St. Clement Hofbauer in Podolínec. We hope these practical and useful things will make the children happy and help them during their studies,” said Ondrej Pelán, the general manager of Grandhotel Praha.

During the First benefit concert on Monday 19th December at 06:00pm, the highest located Christmas tree in the Tatras will be lit in the conference room of Grandhotel Praha in Tatranská Lomnica and presents will be handed over to the representatives of the above mentioned children´s homes. The evening will celebrate those who have decided to make children happy on Christmas. All guests who come to the Grandhotel can enjoy a music programme with Mirka Partlová and a children´s violin orchestra. Presents can be placed under the Christmas tree also at the last moment during the concert. The programme is free of charge.
