The winter season was launched with a spectacular show on Saturday 30th November but skiers have to wait until Saturday 7th December to enjoy the first turns of the new season on the pistes. “It´s true, we are beginning this Saturday! It has got cold outside so we could make snow on some pistes and can finally open the resort for day skiing. The pistes of Biela Púť (no.13), Pretekárska (no. 1a Luková- Priehyba) and from Priehyba to Koliesko (2b + 2) will be available and the Funitel cable car will be operating for walking tourists every half an hour,” informed Martin Hloušek, the resort sales-marketing manager. Snow guns will be working at full speed on the rest of the pistes in the north and south of the resort and some of them should be opened in the course of the next week if everything goes as expected.

GOPASS – AN ENTRANCE TICKET TO SKI PISTES AND A KEY TO WATER PARK GATES

GOPASS is a personal ski pass, a multipurpose loyalty card and the best option for tourists who are spending holidays in the Tatras and want to ski at better prices. Skiers can register for free in the online shop on www.gopass.sk, buy their electronic ski passes and walk straight to turnstiles once they arrive at the ski resort. GOPASS saves time because you don´t have to queue at ticket offices and can enjoy fresh morning corduroy instead. In addition, clients collect loyalty points for every shopping and can redeem them for other services in TMR facilities. If they buy multi-day ski passes or multi-day hotel packages with included ski passes, the ski passes can serve as Tatralandia or Bešeňová water park tickets if not used for skiing on the same day. For more information, please visit www.gopass.sk. GOPASS cards are valid also in the ski resort of Špindlerův Mlýn in the Czech Republic and in the Polish resort of Szczyrk this winter again.
