This year’s summer bike season is going to be launched on the popular Rocky Face DH track, a difficult black track which leads under the 6-seater chairlift Záhradky – Rovná Hoľa and is designated for experienced bikers with good skills. Families with children can use the easy blue Fun Track after 13th June, where obstacles can be ridden around. It is suitable also for absolute beginners and has a comfortable surface so that it can be ridden also on scooters. The track is ideal for those who want to enjoy a comfortable, easy ride with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. This year, the bike park is introducing a new Kids Bike Zone in the area of Záhradky, where all obstacles are adapted to small cyclists and can be surmounted even on balance bikes or tricycles.
From 26th June 2015, when the bike park will be hosting the 3rd round of the Slovak Downhill Cup, other tracks are going to be opened for the public as well: Deer Track – a medium difficult freeride red track which is suitable for intermediate and advanced bikers; Summit Flatline – an easy to medium difficult traverse red track from Mt. Chopok to Priehyba; and Bottom Flatline – an easy traverse blue track from Priehyba to Záhradky. As for the southern side of Mt. Chopok, the South Track – an easy blue track, ideal for beginners, shall be opened as well. For more information about the tracks, please click HERE. The Rocky Mountain Bike World of Jasná offers 17 km of tracks at the altitudes from 1,342 metres and higher, with the total vertical drop of 970 metres. 4 modern cable cars and chairlifts make 6 tracks of various difficulty levels accessible – from easy to race, tourist or downhill ones. With season bike tickets that are valid in the current summer season, bikers can save several tens of EUR in the resort of Jasná.
