The non-traditional Children´s Day in Jasná promises the biggest snow storage in the history of the ski resort. The giant heap of snow that has been stored to serve next winter season will have its premiere in June to make all kids who come happy. “This is the second time that snow has been stored in Jasná for the following winter but the first time that it is made available for kids. We hope they will enjoy the atypical snow adventure in June to the fullest,” explained Jana Kňavová from the Jasná resort. Children can look forward to special activities in the area of Biela púť, a lot of attractions, mountain carts, sweet treats and cable car trips to Mt Chopok at a reduced price of 12€ for all age groups all weekend long.

It is not only the Low Tatras but also the High Tatras that are inviting families to spend a great weekend. “The interactive Quantarium gallery in Hrebienok is going to be opened again after a long time to introduce various physical mysteries among other things. A relaxation zone with 10 wooden bear sculptures on the lower meadow in Hrebienok is ideal for a short walk after the gallery tour. Skalnaté pleso offers a lot of fun in the Marmot Land, mountain carts promise amusing adventures between Štart and Tatranská Lomnica. Hungry bellies can recharge their batteries with mega-size sweet steamed dumplings,” explained Lukáš Brodanský from the Vysoké Tatry resort.  What´s more, cable car tickets to Skalnaté pleso, Hrebienok and Štrbské Pleso will be sold at the price of kid´s tickets to all age groups as a special weekend benefit. The reduced-rate tickets are available only online on gopass.sk.

The cable car of Mt Lomnický štít in the High Tatras operates again after the regular maintenance period. The summit at the altitude of 2,634 metres is covered with fresh snow and offers genuine winter conditions. So to enjoy unforgettable but comfortable moments in the Slovak mountains, please don´t forget to put warm clothes on despite the calendar date.

All cable cars, attractions and activities will be opened while respecting all current precautionary hygiene conditions.
