The new version of the unique festival of bears had a premiere in 2019. This year, two days will offer great bear fun again, performances of popular guests as well as an interesting interactive and educational content for children and their parents to discover the world of forest pedagogy, learn something about the work of mountain rescuers and mountain load bearers.

On Saturday 31.7., musician and song writer Sima Magušinová known before as Sima Martausová is going to sing about love, mountains, good food and nature, Sunday is going to be the day of Marián Čekovský and his band. Dárius Koči, Patrik Vyskočil, Lenka Machciniková and other well-known TV faces are going to present a popular musical of the Nová scéna theatre – The Father Frost on stage. In addition, there are going to be the Actores theatre and Pipi Longstocking, the Fidlikanti band, the Credance dance school, the Kaprálik family with a theatre piece about baby goats and the wolf and much more.

“Considering the currently valid restrictions and regulations of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic, the Bear Days in Hrebienok can be visited by a maximum of 1,000 people per day. That’s why we have decided to sell tickets and close the area. The tickets will be available at the best prices through Gopass for both days separately – in the form of packages including funicular travel tickets. Adult tickets purchased online in advance will cost from €7, the combination with funicular tickets will cost €15. Tickets for children aged 0-6 years will cost a symbolic €1 and can be purchased through the inviton.sk platform. Children aged 0-6 years can use the funicular for free if they are accompanied by their parents,” informed Lukáš Brodanský, the manager of the Vysoké Tatry mountain resort.

For the programme details and organisational instructions, please visit www.vt.sk. Due to the lower event capacity, the online ticket advance sale at the best prices is the best option.

For 31.7. and 1.8.2021, the organisers recommend using public transport to travel to Starý Smokovec – the Tatra electric railway or busses. Cars can be parked only at chargeable town and private car parks in Starý Smokovec.
