Dragon Nights on Mt. Chopok

The first story of the Dragon Nights begins in early July with present-day popular fairytales. On the way to new experiences and popular fairytale figures, one needs to follow the instructions of the guide and collect stamps from various stations. Small adventurers will love Masha and the Bear, The tower of the Guardians with real birds of prey, Shrek´s swamp, Almost Ice Age, Penguins and the Dragon chamber. The Vikings will help them tame the feared dragon and Minions will teach them their funny language. Knights will be fighting with a dragon on the Castle of Rotunda, magician Talostan will show his magic tricks and Martin Madej will come to sing for children.
The adventurous night cable car trip to the Castle of Rotunda begins on Friday and Saturday in the area of Biela Púť (from the northern side of Mt. Chopok) and at the Srdiečko hotel (from the southern side). Cableway transport will be arranged in two time intervals – at 17:30 and at 19:00. The main topic of the next Dragon Night is “Dragology” and small scientific specialists will meet on 7th and 8th August. And last but not least, on 28th and 29th August, children will learn some magic and illusions with Demian and his helpers in a dragon nest. For more information, please click HERE. Children can enjoy various summer attractions related to dragons under Mt. Chopok all summer long. Besides solving the family game in the Dragon Park Chopok and enjoying cable car trips, kids can frolic on an obstacle course and test their Dragon skilfulness, have fun on a dragon tower, on the Dragon climbing frame of Srdiečko on the southern side of Mt. Chopok, on a climbing wall, in an inflatable castle or on a bungee trampoline. In this way, Demian the Dragon, the guardian of the treasures of Demänovská dolina (valley), will become part and a friend of every family that spends their holiday in the Low Tatras.
