“We appreciate the award very much. We perceive it as a kind of satisfaction for the work that the whole Legendia team had to do when preparing the attraction on the technological level, thematising as well precise combining of all elements,” said Paweł Cebula, the general manager of the Silesian amusement park of Legendia.

Július Vinter, the general manager of the TMR company in Poland, which is the main investor in the Silesian amusement park of Legendia, points out that Lech Coaster demonstrates the change and a new quality level of the oldest Polish amusement park. “Lech Coaster is an attraction that every Pole should try at least once in his or her life. It offers great emotions as well as a beautiful story about the origin of the Polish state presented in the form of legends. However, our work does not end by receiving the award. Visitors of Legendia can look forward to a new interactive dark ride-style family attraction called Bazyliszek next season. The motif of legends will be emphasised by this mythical creature even more,” added J. Vinter.

Thanks to its technical parameters, Lech Coaster was among top three European giants of extreme fun. The roller-coaster with 4 inverse curves is 908 m long and 40 m high and one ride at the speed of almost 100 km/h takes 104 seconds. There is a special multimedia preshow presented to passengers before the ride that introduces the story of Lech and the legendary birth of the Polish state.
