“This year´s ski season has begun officially in the resort of Tatranská Lomnica in Lomnické sedlo in early December. On Christmas, all cableways and ski pistes will be open in the High Tatras. The resorts are prepared and so are the services and the staff, which the Ski Exclusive opening should symbolise. All day long, skiers will be meeting elegant waiters on the slopes in Tatranská Lomnica who will be ready to help them disembark the cableways, clean their skiing goggles or carry their skis to restaurants. A rich animation programme will be offered for children in the indoor amusement park of the Chamois Land in Skalnaté Pleso. Lovers of sparkling wine can clink glasses in a special Champagne bar and a professional DJ with a saxophonist will be there to spice up the après-ski entertainment,” said Lukáš Brodanský, the brand manager in the resort of Vysoké Tatry.

However, fun does not end after skiing and continues at a disco party in the stylish après-ski Humno Tatry club. Read more about Ski Exclusive also HERE. Štrbské Pleso and Starý Smokovec offer ideal snow conditions. 24 km of ski pistes with 40 – 150 cm of snow will be open in the High Tatras from the upcoming weekend.

On both sides of Mt. Chopok, over 42 km of ski pistes will be available from Saturday 23rd December. The resort of Jasná Nízke Tatry will be celebrating the 1st birthday of the cable car in the area of Krupová on the same day. Pre-Christmas skiing on the southern side of Mt. Chopok will be combined with a rich programme that begins at the lower cable car station at 10:00. A cake is a “must” at any celebration and Krupová will have the biggest snow cake in Slovakia. The four-tier 10-metre cake will be made by students of the Academy of Arts from Banská Bystrica, department of sculpture and spatial installations. Read more HERE.
