“Opening a water park is not like switching a button to get everything ready easily. Each restarting process has specific rules and methods that have to be followed. What´s more, today´s situation requires also extra measures that we need to prepare. Our main aim is to do our best to guarantee maximum safety and comfort to our customers. That´s why it is very important for us to be informed in details at least 10 days prior to the planned opening and to know when and under which conditions we can reopen again,” explained Vladimír Moravčík, the general manager of Tatralandia.

In order to be a fair partner and also to accommodate specialists, representatives of Slovak water parks have decided to propose rules and recommendations regarding safe operation. And among other things, they have established the so called Slovak Association of Water Parks, Outdoor and Indoor Swimming Pools, which is supposed to work not only as a platform for exchanging opinions and experience but also as a consultative body of the public administration.

Representatives of 15 most popular Slovak water parks and outdoor swimming pools have asked the government, which has been paying a lot of attention to travel agencies that send clients abroad, not to forget about domestic water parks and outdoor swimming pools that count to TOP attractions in Slovakia and not only offer relaxation to millions of local and foreign clients but also guarantee large numbers of jobs in individual regions.
