The attraction is meant for adrenaline lovers, absolute beginners, children above 6 years and all those who like trying new things. The 5.5 metre-high construction is available for visitors of Aquapark Tatralandia every day from 9:00 to 21:00. Trained instructors help master the body surfing and knee board surfing techniques on medium-difficult waves that reach the speed of 30-70 km/hour.

“Our area has got a new exciting attraction. After having introduced a free fall simulator in the Hurricane Factory Tatralandia, our water park is offering a sea wave simulator this summer. The wildest and the only half-pipe in Slovakia (Boomerang Raft Ramp) and the steepest water slide (Free Fall) have been joined by a mobile sea wave (Wave surfer) that offers a feeling of unlimited freedom when surfing and conquering waves on a board. This attraction completes the concept of the Caribbean Tropical Paradise under the Tatras with real palm trees from Florida, salt sea water, a wrecked wooden pirate sailing boat, real corals and comfortable heated sun beds. The artificial sea wave is a great attraction especially for keen surfers, people seeking active relaxation “on the beach” as well as small and lively surfers who like trying new things. We were inspired by surfing spots in France and exotic Bali, i.e. destinations which offer top conditions for this water sport all year round,“ said Andrea Lehotská, the marketing manager of Aquapark Tatralandia.

When visiting the summer section of Tatralandia, families with children can enjoy a new 8-metre-high children´s castle with climbing frames, slides, water slides and a sandpit which is located next to the sunlit and stylish Medrano restaurant. A new racing circuit with Italian mini cars and an area of 20 x 10 metres as well as a typical attraction for the smallest children – a mini train with two lorries and a mini car on rails are new members of the “team” in the Fun park.

Aquapark Tatralandia is the largest water world in Slovakia and guarantees amusement for 365 days a year. All age groups can enjoy themselves in 14 pools with sea, thermal and clear water, on 26 adrenaline water slides and various attractions with an all-day animation programme.
