Veronika Velez-Zuzulová will finish her active skiing career with people who are most important for her, as for the private as well as professional life in a symbolic way in Jasná. The morning programme will be hosted by Erika Barkolová, participants can register from 9:00am and skiers can enjoy great snow conditions and excellent après-ski entertainment with an original snow groomer stage. The event with Veronika starts at 01:00pm and will be hosted by Slávo Jurko. One of the fans who register on site will get a chance to take part in the parallel slalom race and ski down the hill side by side with our mega-successful skier. The same applies to the winner of Saturday´s Hero Season Trophy Enrico Fiala (CZ), who was competing in the kid´s category (under 12 years). Veronika is going to meet her friends at an autograph show in the area of Priehyba between 02:30pm and 03:30pm. A press conference for journalists will be prepared in the conference room of the Grand Jasná hotel at 04:30pm. 

Veronika Velez-Zuzulová (34) was taking part in World Cup ski races since the age of 16. She was standing on the podium several times. The year of 2016 was triumphal for Veronika as she stood on the World Cup slalom podium 6 times and her home country was lucky to witness one of these successful results in Jasná. Veronika finished her great skiing career in March 2018 in Ofterschwang, Germany at a World Cup women´s slalom event and now she is going to say goodbye to her Slovak friends in Jasná. 

The ski resort of Jasná Nízke Tatry offers very good snow conditions with 30-80 cm snow on the pistes. The following cableways will be operating on the northern side of Mt. Chopok in the period of 4/4 to 15/4: Biela Púť – Jasná, Jasná – Priehyba, Priehyba – Chopok, Záhradky – Rovná hoľa. The southern side of the mountain will offer the following sections and cableways: Krupová – Kosodrevina and Kosodrevina – Chopok.
