Tatralandia Holiday Resort in Liptovský Mikuláš is the largest year-round water fun park with accommodation in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland, it offers its visitors 14 swimming pools, out of which 10 are year-round and 26 waterslides, out of which 6 are year-round. Tatralandia also offers a possibility to visit Celtic sauna world and Wellness Paradise. Tatralandia Holiday Resort consists of Aquapark Tatralandia and a lodging facility Holiday Village Tatralandia situated in the Liptov region. Funpark Tatralandia, the largest amusement park in Slovakia, which is available on demand for corporate events and conferences, is also a part of Aquapark Tatralandia. Another part, Tropical Paradise, has been designed as a piece of a tropical Caribbean paradise with the average temperature of 30°C and with original tropical flora. Year-round high temperature with natural sunlight is possible thanks to the unique roof foil, which with its transparency provides visitors a chance to sunbath both in summer and in winter. There are also four modern swimming pools and many massage and fun attractions. The new addition of the summer 2016 was the launch of the interior simulator Surf Waves Tatralandia, which utilizes a special technology of an inbuilt artificial stream capable of producing waves similar to ocean waves. In the Hawaii facility there are 4 lanes covering the area of 68 m2. The new fun activity supervised by a pro instructor is suitable for all age groups of 6 and over.
