The year-round complex of Tatralandia starts to operate on Saturday 6th June and visitors can look forward to 11 salt, thermal and clear water pools, 5 water slides and the Celtic sauna world. “We have been working nonstop for recent days to reopen and offer comfortable and safe relaxation to our customers. The water park has been disinfected and cleaned everywhere, from the deepest spot in each pool to our pirate ship. The pools were filled with water on Tuesday and we had the water quality proved by a certified laboratory based on respective norms,” explained Vladimír Moravčík, the chief operations manager at Tatralandia.
Our customers should know that based on the regulations of the Public Health Authority, aerosol generating attractions such as water jets, bubble underwater massage beds etc. will not be working and neither will the drinking fountains and the surf wave for now. “Every client will have the temperature measured by a thermal image camera at the entrance so that the entering process runs smoothly and people don´t gather there. After that, our visitors will walk from the ticket offices to our lockers which will be occupied by respecting the prescribed distances. When walking from the lockers to the water park complex, clients can remove their face masks but except enjoying relaxation, distances between people at water slides and gastronomy facilities will have to be respected. The capacity of the Celtic sauna world has been reduced by half based on the recommendations of health experts,” added Vladimír Moravčík.
The air-conditioning system in Tatralandia and Bešeňová has been paid a lot of attention to. It has been fully disinfected and set to blow in fresh air constantly. “We are observing all respective regulations and hope our customers will behave responsibly too and decide to come at another time if they don´t feel well,” concluded Vladimír Moravčík. The summer complex with more pools, attractions and water slides should start to operate in Tatralandia on 26th June.
The Bešeňová water park is opening on Saturday 6th June as well, however, only for hotel guests for now. “7 outdoor thermal pools and 3 indoor pools will be available, plus the sauna world without cooling pools for now. Next week, i.e. on 13th June, the water park is opening for everybody, which means not only hotel guests but also external customers,” explained Peter Kolenčík, the general manager of the Bešeňová water park.
Both Tatralandia and Bešeňová can be used without limits for half a year since the opening – with the Summer AQUA SEASON PASS. The advance sale at the best price of 99€ lasts until 30.6.2020. There are different prices for kids, juniors and seniors available.
