The famous aquapark in the region of Liptov will host the most famous Slovak singers and DJs. The dance fever starts on Saturday with an afternoon Expres Pool Party and DJ Burian, continues with a grand celebration of Martin Harich´s 18th birthday, a concert and an autograph show. The party of the year will end with a special performance of the rapper Ego. The Summer beach party on Sunday will introduce the best of our animation production – Aquagym, zumba, volleyball, children´s mini fiesta and a tropical show. Families with children will enjoy the Marmots at Pleso event at Štrbské Pleso – traditional marmot Olympics, which attracted more than 5,000 visitors to come to the Tatras last year. Children can test their senses and compete in various non-traditional sports disciplines during the last weekend of August. Every child who takes part in all Olympic disciplines will get a ski pass valid for the resort of Štrbské Pleso. Apart from a special Marmot running to the upper chairlift station of Solisko, children will test their sight, smell and hearing, run a slalom race or search for the right way in a labyrinth. Small or bigger “marmots” can paint a marmot land, write their own marmot story, taste various delicacies or enjoy fun in an inflatable castle or on a slide. A day of dragon games and great fun for families with children is prepared for the bank holiday on Thursday 29th August 2013. Damian the Dragon invites all friends of kites to come to Demänovská Dolina and participate in a special kite flying and piloting contest. All visitors will be welcomed at the lower station of the Funitel cable car in the Low Tatras by a real knight – Vladislav and can enjoy a rich accompanying programme such as dragon games and competitions or searching for the treasure of Damian the Dragon. Tatry mountain resorts, a.s. is a top subject in the field of tourism in Central and Easter Europe, which itself or via subsidiaries owns and operates attractive ski resorts and hotels in the area of the Low and High Tatras. These include the resort Jasná Low Tatras and the following hotels: Wellness hotel Grand Jasná, Tri studničky and Chalets Záhradky De Luxe. In the High Tatras, TMR owns and operates resorts Tatranská Lomnica, Starý Smokovec and the following hotels: Grandhotel Praha Tatranská Lomnica, Grandhotel Starý Smokovec, Hotel Slovakia and hotel FIS Štrbské Pleso. TMR also co‐operates the resort Štrbské Pleso and since the winter season 2012/2013 it has been leasing the mountain resort Špindlerův Mlýn in the Czech Republic in cooperation with SMMR, a.s..
