“I think that every reasonable person must see what is happening around us. If not doctors and healthcare workers, who else deserves to take their minds of things and leave the hospital environment? That’s why we have decided to help and offer some active relaxation to them during the upcoming holidays. Christmas is about giving so we have joined our sources and would be very happy to see our healthcare workers breath some fresh air in our resorts, ski and enjoy the mountains,” said Dušan Slavkovský, the general manager of the Vysoké Tatry mountain resort.
“We are very happy that companies that are active in our region have shown fellow feeling and do their best to help our hospital and the fully occupied staff. We appreciate is very much and thank the Vysoké Tatry resort for the gift very much,” responded Richard Vojsovič, the economic director of the Poprad hospital.
“I would like to thank the Jasná ski resort for this lovely Christmas surprise. For our people who are really exhausted due to the pandemic, it will be a nice opportunity to recharge their batteries, relax and gain new energy for their hard days at work. Thank you very much,” said Ján Drobčo, the assistant director of the medical-preventive care department of the Liptov hospital and health centre of MUDR. Ivan Stodola in Liptovský Mikuláš.
This is not the first form of help offered to the regions of the High and Low Tatras by the Jasná and Vysoké Tatry mountain resorts during the pandemic. Since the beginning, the resorts have given tonnes of fresh fruit to the ill and seniors, face masks to rescue services and computer sets for children to support education.
