Boating on Štrbské pleso: According to historical documents, a pier and a boat shelter were built here in 1880 already. The first boat port was built on the bank of Štrbské pleso in 1921-1946 and there were about 60 boats. Boating was most popular in 1950s. The season would last from May to the end of October.
