TMR shareholders inter alia approved Individual financial statements and the distribution of profit for last year 2015/16 in the amount of EUR 4.814 mil. in such a way that 10% will be used to replenish the reserve fund and the remainder in the amount of EUR 4.333 mil. will remain in the Company as retained earnings. KPMG Slovensko spol. s.r.o. was reelected as TMR’s auditor. Also, shareholders reelected a Supervisory Board member, Roman Kudláček, whose prior term had expired.
As part of the Business plan for the current financial year the Board of Directors presented a financial plan with annual consolidated revenues of EUR 90.0 mil., equal to a 10.8% increase year-over-year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) are planned for EUR 29.0 mil., a 15.5% increase compared to last year’s EBITDA.
As for the investment strategy, TMR will be focusing on the Polish as well as domestic operations. The implementation of the investment plan of modernization of the Polish Szczyrk resort will be fully launched. Massive capital expenditures will flow also to Silesian Amusement Park (Śląskie Wesołe Miasteczko) and to broaden and enhance service quality in the Slovak resorts.

Tatry mountain resorts, a.s. (TMR) is the leader in tourism in Central and Eastern Europe; it owns and operates attractive mountain resorts, amusement parks, restaurant facilities, sports services, shops and hotels. TMR also owns a 9.5 % share in Melida, a.s., which leases and operates the resort Špindlerův Mlýn in the Czech Republic. In Poland TMR owns a 97% share in the mountain resort Szczyrkowski Ośrodek Narciarski S.A. (SON), a 75% share in a company that owns and operates Silesian Amusement Park (Śląskie Wesołe Miasteczko) and a 7.3% share in an amusement-educational project via the Polish company Korona Ziemi Sp. z.o.o. TMR also owns and leases hotels Slovakia, Kosodrevina, Liptov and Ski&Fun Záhradky a Bungalovy to third parties. By the end of 2016 EUR 230 mil. had been invested into development and modernisation of TMR’s resorts. TMR shares are traded on three European stock exchanges – in Bratislava, Prague, and Warsaw.
