The Bešeňová water park is kicking off summer 2026 with double the excitement. On Saturday, 30 May, it will officially open the summer season with the spectacular Bešeňová Summer Opening children’s festival, while also unveiling the first part of its brand-new FUN PARK — the most ambitious investment in dry attractions in the resort history. Spanning almost 20,000 square metres, the new attraction takes the family entertainment offering at Bešeňová to an entirely new level.
A children’s festival packed with stars
Bešeňová Summer Opening 2026 will take place on 30 May 2026 from 11:00 am, promising a full day of entertainment featuring some of Slovakia’s best-loved children’s performers, including Smejko and Tanculienka, Fíha Tralala, Zahrajko and Mouse Eliška, as well as Mojko and Kajka from TV Jojko. The event will be hosted throughout the day by Hugo Sníček, who has prepared plenty of surprises for visitors — from competitions and stilt walkers to face painting. Guests can also look forward to a foam party and even a meet-and-greet with actors from the hit TV series Sľub (Promise). The celebrations continue on 31 May, when Bešeňová marks International Children’s Day with a special entertainment programme with foam parties, treasure hunts and a range of fun family activities. Admission to the children’s festival is included in standard 1-day tickets, while children under six can enter free of charge.
FUN PARK: the attraction Liptov has been waiting for
Being the undoubtedly biggest addition to Bešeňová for summer 2026, the FUN PARK is a brand-new attraction designed primarily for families with children, while entertaining visitors of all age groups.
“Bešeňová Summer Opening traditionally marks the start of the summer season for us, but this year feels particularly special. The opening of our FUN PARK, spread across almost two hectares and expected to be fully completed with all attractions by 20 June, represents the largest investment in dry attractions in the history of Bešeňová. With this project, we are responding to growing demand from families looking for a destination where every member can find something to enjoy — in and also out of the water,” said Róbert Šmitala, Director of TMR water parks.

The FUN PARK expands the already extensive offering at the water park, which includes 18 pools (several with thermal water), 16 water slides and attractions, an outdoor summer zone and the Wellness & Spa Harmónia area, making Bešeňová one of Slovakia’s most comprehensive family destinations.
Accommodation within the resort
Visitors wishing to extend their experience can choose from three hotels located directly within the resort complex: Bešeňová Hotel, Akvamarín Hotel and Galeria Thermal Hotel. Unlimited water park access is included in the stay, along with cable car trips in Jasná and the High Tatras.
