The biggest winter opening event of the year is set to take place in Jasná once again. Slovakia’s largest ski resort continues its tradition of spectacular season launches, with Modern Talking singer and producer Dieter Bohlen as the programme headliner.
The Winter Jasná Opening is scheduled for the last weekend of November. On 28th and 29th November 2025, visitors can look forward to a programme packed with live music, entertainment and accompanying activities. But at the heart of it all, there is still the start of the skiing season. “In recent years, thanks to extensive investments in high-quality infrastructure and favourable weather, we have been able to regularly launch the ski season as early as late November. We want to continue this tradition this year and ensure that by the opening on 29th November, a substantial portion of our pistes is ready for skiing. And that’s not all – we also plan to introduce several new attractions that will delight skiers and also other visitors to Jasná,” said Jiří Trumpeš, the resort director.
Dieter Bohlen will be the main star of this weekend’s programme. The well-known German composer, singer and producer founded the legendary Modern Talking duo, which rose to fame in the 1980s, with hits such as “Cheri Cheri Lady” and “Brother Louie”. Bohlen remains an active showman today and is also known as a judge on the German Superstar TV show.
The opening festivities start on Friday, 28th November 2025, with a disco hosted by Radio Melody, a live performance by the Duchoňovci band and entertainment with DJs at the Happy End Club.
On Saturday, 29th November, the celebration continues with a full-day programme, including an exclusive fashion show featuring premium outdoor lifestyle brands. The day-long party will culminate with the WINTER JASNÁ OPENINGevening programme. Legendary Dieter Bohlen and his catchy retro hits will get the entire resort dancing. Adding to the unique atmosphere, performances by ABBA Show, Saxofrancis, DJ Mikias and DJ Just Dave are also on the bill.
