The first preparations for the new season began on the glacier already in September. The favourable change of weather in recent days which has brought a temperature drop and also long awaited snowfall has sped up everything. “Our snow-making system has been running full speed from Wednesday. We want to create perfect conditions and prepare our ski pistes as good as possible. Hopefully, the weather will stay on our side and adds natural snow as well,” said Stefan Klotz, the resort general manager. The piste opening on the glacier is scheduled for Thursday 14th October 2021. In addition, the official season opening with an attractive programme is planned for 28th October.
