The newly opened hotel offers 5 rooms with an absolute remarkable location on the second highest peak of the Low Tatras, with stars on the doorstep. Keen winter sports fans or romantic dreamers will find shelter in 3 rooms of higher Deluxe category for 2-4 people and 2 rooms of Standard category for 2 people, all furbished in an authentic mountain style. Cosy interior and carefully chosen materials such as wood, metal and stone go hand in hand with breathtaking views offered from windows and balconies. Guests have a ringside seat and can admire beautiful peaks of the Low and High Tatras. “Our hotel doesn´t need to be categorised within the traditional star-system as there are millions of stars literally on the doorstep. And a night spent there will be just unforgettable,“ said Michal Krolák, member of the Board of Directors of the Tatry mountain resorts, a.s. company.

It is not only magical sunsets with beautiful Tatra panoramas in the background that makes the hotel unique. It is also the sunrises enjoyed in warm hotel beds or on freshly groomed ski slopes. Being accommodated on top of Mt. Chopok means being the first on the slope in the morning, which is a real luxury. Transport to the hotel is attractive as well – it is either by a cable car or a snow grooming machine. When arriving from the northern side, guests can use the Funitel cable car, whose lower station is located in the area of Chopok – Priehyba. As for the southern side of Mt. Chopok, the locality of Srdiečko is the boarding station that needs to be used. Accommodation prices at the Million Star Hotel are from 85 € per room and night. Special 4-course breakfast under the stars is served in the recently opened 360-degree panorama Rotunda Restaurant. For reservations please visit
