“The Smart Season Pass has found loyal fans among skiers. We are continuing with this successful project of prepaid season ski passes for the following season also this year. Skiers can ski at 49 EUR all April long, they can use the pistes in Štrbské Pleso and on Mt. Chopok every day, the pistes down from Lomnické sedlo (saddle) every weekend after 11th April. The advance payment is ideal especially for those who get to the Tatras in spring only occasionally but want to ski at a favourable price. Those who are serious about skiing can pay the rest of the price, i.e. 150 EUR in autumn and can be sure their season pass will be cheaper when compared to ticket offices. With a prepaid season pass for Tatra resorts, one can save up to 200 EUR,“ said Michal Beňo, the sales director for GOPASS from Tatry mountain resorts, a.s.
With new autumn supplementary payment policy, smart season pass holders can enjoy skiing during the day and relaxation in water parks in the afternoon even on one and the same day. There will be various versions of package surcharges: 1. Smart Season Pass = day skiing in the resorts of Jasná Nízke Tatry, Tatranská Lomnica and Štrbské Pleso; 2. Smart Season Pass + night skiing; 3. Smart Season Pass + night skiing + day skiing in the Czech resort of Mlýn. Another surcharge package to the Smart Season Pass includes an aqua season pass to the Aquapark Tatralandia or Gino Paradise Bešeňová that can be combined with each of the above mentioned varieties. By joining the GOPASS loyalty programme and the Ski Challenge, skiers could fulfil their skiing resolutions that were focused on motivating clients to complete as many slope kilometres during the season of 2015/16 as possible. Based on the performances of our ski pass users we know that our most active skier spent 92 days in our resorts during the winter season (as of 30th March 2016) and completed as many as 4,417 slope kilometres, which is approximately the same distance as when driving a car e.g. from Mt. Chopok do Omsk in Russia. When comparing this with last year´s best skier, the most active skier of the season of 2015/16 completed 275 more slope kilometres and spent 9 more days on the skis in the period under review. Based on the statistics we also know that this specific skier completed 48 slope kilometres and used the cableways 21 times per day. Among top 10 skiers with season ski passes who completed the most slope kilometres, there is for example one who was born in 1937. The most loyal skier of the GOPASS programme is Vladimír from the district of Ružomberok with the highest number of collected points (673) in the period under review and 3,799 slope kilometres completed. “I intend to buy the Smart Season Pass again. It is very convenient for us, skiers. We are a group of people who go skiing regularly so we will be happy to use the season passes in the next season again. I bought a pair of new Völk skis in a Tatry Motion shop and have been using the ascribed points mainly for ski service. It is not expensive, only at 4 EUR and 150 points, I can have my skis serviced regularly. I also plan to buy the water park product to my season pass this year. I will be skiing in the morning and relaxing in the evening because I have to work as well,“ said the most loyal skier Vladimír.
All GOPASS users collect loyalty points in their accounts and can use them for example to enjoy the Tatra Dinner of Emotions, morning Fresh Track skiing or discounts in restaurant facilities.
