The Innsbruck Muttereralm mountain resort has successfully hosted an exceptional FAMILY DAY. At the 3rd edition of this charitable event, the public was introduced to the first gondola cabin dedicated to the prevention of men’s oncological diseases. It is the first blue cable car in the EUdedicated to the international “Loose Tie” campaign.

It was already in 2024 that Innsbruck Muttereralm launched a unique health and prevention initiative by unveiling the first pink gondola in the EU, dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. The new blue gondola now extends this charitable project to men as well.

“With the ceremonial unveiling of the first blue gondola at Muttereralm, we have sent a strong message about the importance of prevention and early check-ups to the public. This gondola is designed to serve as a reminder in an unusual setting and to encourage men to take care of their health,” said Petr Nikl, the resort general manager.

The festive unveiling of the blue cabin was attended by several notable public figures, including Regional Councillor Ewa Pawlata, Member of the Tyrolean Parliament Beate Scheiber, Mayor of Mutters Hansjörg Peer, Mayor of Axams Thomas Suitner, Professor Isabela Heidegger Pircher from the Innsbruck Clinic, former ski star Hannes Reichelt and others.

The Family Day at Innsbruck Muttereralm combined fun and charity in yet another way. All proceeds from mountain cart rides were donated by the resort to support the Tyrol Cancer Aid foundation.
