Liptovský Mikuláš (1.2.2024) The TMR company has defended its position among the top employers in Slovakia. In the 12th edition of the “Most Attractive Employer in Slovakia” survey, the company secured the 3rd place in the category of Tourism, Gastronomy, and Hospitality.
In the 12th edition of the survey, a record-breaking number of more than 131,000 voters participated in the voting, deciding the rankings in 11 categories. This year, the evaluation not only relied on public votes but also incorporated a new methodology involving expert judging. “This year, we divided the votes into internal and external categories, considered also the placement in the nomination which reflected data from Profesia.sk, and invited an expert jury. The jury assessed the employer branding activities of the companies,” says Monika Košťanyová, marketing specialist at Alma Career Slovakia, which is responsible for the survey. The most crucial factors were the same as last year for the voters. Before salary, the collective atmosphere and the company’s good reputation once again took precedence when stating reasons.
The most common reasons for choosing an employer as the most attractive include:

- Good company reputation
- Job security
- Competitive salary and benefits
- Strong, recognised brand
- Pleasant working environment
- Personal growth opportunities.
“We are pleased that both the public and the expert jury have recognised our company. The tourism segment is extremely demanding in terms of the workforce, and we strive to make this work attractive and promising. Over the past three years, we have increased salaries by 30%, taking inflation into account. We have restarted educational activities for employees and support dual education. When we add career growth opportunities and all the benefits we offer as a company to our employees and their families, it’s a truly complex package. Whether we are talking about offers of mountain resorts, hotels or water and amusement parks that employees and their families can use,” informed Marek Schwarz, Director of Human Resources at TMR.
