Representatives of TMR, a.s. have visited Serbia to discuss potential cooperation regarding operating the country’s largest mountain resorts, as well as joining the Skijališta Srbije company. The TMR management was part of the delegation accompanying the official visit of Slovak President Peter Pellegrini to Serbia. Representatives of TMR held talks at the Ministry of Economy as well as at the Ministry of Tourism.
“We were very pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and the level of preparedness shown by our Serbian counterparts when discussing potential cooperation. The mountain resorts and spa sector presented to us by our Serbian partners are among our core businesses, and we have many years of experience in operating them. This allowed us to practically demonstrate how this type of leisure business can be developed hand in hand with entire regions, and I believe this vision resonated with them,” said Igor Rattaj, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TMR, a.s.
The initial talks have yielded a concrete agreement to establish a joint working group which shall prepare specific proposals for TMR’s involvement in the development of tourism in Serbia.
