Visitors can enjoy the biggest Easter egg ever in the resort of Jasná from Thursday 17th April. Folks in the Liptov region will enjoy a real summer season during Easter and have something new to offer. Those who want to use cable cars to get to the other side of Mt. Chopok and back can do so using one ticket only. Tourists who will travel with the mega Easter egg up to the summit can look forward to a rich animation programme. Besides beautiful panoramic views of the Western and High Tatras and the region of Horehronie, the iconic Rotunda restaurant will also offer funny photos with a lot of Easter surprise, folklore traditions at the altitude of 2,004 m and a record attempt with a ram cake. Both sides of Mt. Chopok will enjoy a rich and entertaining Easter programme and a festive atmosphere. There will be whip plaiting, egg searching, grilled specialities and Easter delicacies at the Srdiečko Hotel and aprés ski bars during the whole holiday. And on Monday, not even skiers on the ridge of the Low Tatras will avoid traditional water pouring and whipping. The famous Tatra guy will be there as well to guarantee extraordinary experiences. Those who visit the largest water park in the region of Liptov will enjoy a real exotic atmosphere. Bananas are ripening at Tatralandia and this means enjoying the spring holidays and family moments in a non-traditional way – in salty sea water at the second Banana picking under Mt. Chopok. And after tropical water pouring, all adrenalin lovers can let their worries fly away. They can enjoy a special Easter free fall adventure at Superfly Tatralandia with special day tickets. The Tropical Paradise offers a rich animation programme during the whole prolonged weekend. There will be a crazy carnival on the slope for all skiers who decide to spend Easter in the High Tatras. Everybody who comes to the resort of Štrbské Pleso dressed up in a carnival costume and joins a ski race in masks will get a free ski pass and can win attractive prizes. Gourmets and lovers of good food will enjoy delicious Easter specialities in Tatra restaurants Slalom and Bivac on Mt. Solisko, offering beautiful views. DJ Saxo will make everybody dance in the resort of Tatranská Lomnica and there will be original Tatra grilling with folk music at Skalnaté Pleso. Tatra hotels haven´t forgotten about Easter holidays either. They have prepared special Easter packages with reasonable prices and an attractive Easter programme: cookery lessons, egg hunting, real sheep and lambs and a concert of Peter Stašák at Štrbské Pleso.
Easter holidays in the Tatras will be really special. Not only for those who decide to spend them in an active way in the mountains or in water but mainly for those who still have skiing plans. This will be the last opportunity this winter to enjoy flawless spring skiing on the slope of Lomnické sedlo and on Mt. Chopok.
