The 2025/26 ski season was one of the longest Slovakia has seen in recent years. In Jasná, the country’s largest ski resort, the season lasted 150 days (from the end of November to early May). Thanks to the extended winter conditions, several remarkable records were set this season, according to Gopass platform data.
One of the most closely watched statistics — total completed piste kilometres during the season — once again had an international leaderboard. For the first time, Krzystof from Poland was the overall winner after clocking up an impressive 10,045 km on the slopes. To put that into perspective, that is roughly the distance from Paris to Tokyo and even a little further. Karel from the Czech Republic with 9,003 km and Igor from Slovakia with 7,994 km were national champions. The figures were recorded up to 3 May 2026, the official end of the ski season in Slovakia.

Other standout Gopass ski statistics
149 days on skis — the season record belonged to Lýdia from Liptovský Mikuláš
4,665 season pass holders completed more than 500 km during the winter — around 1,000 more than last year
227,894 km — the highest combined daily piste distance completed in Jasná during a single day
Après-ski King
TMR also crowned its “Après-ski King” across all TMR ski resorts. The title went to the skier with either a 1-day ski pass or a season pass who spent the highest amount on après-ski relative to the number of completed piste kilometres. The ranking included only guests who completed at least two cable car rides in a day and a minimum of 5 piste kilometres during the season.
Dariusz from Poland became the 2025/26 Après-ski King, who completed 33 km and spent €667 on après-ski activities — an average of €20.41 per piste kilometre. Second place went to Mate from Hungary with 19 km completed and €390 spent (€20.23/km), while third place belonged to Jaroslav from the Czech Republic with 53 km completed and €1,051 spent (€20/km). As a reward for his loyalty both on and off the slopes, Dariusz received a bonus of 500 goX points from Gopass.
Food & drink highlights across TMR resorts (Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic and Poland)
The most popular dish across TMR mountain resorts: potato chips, with more than 67,000 portions sold during the season.
Coffee for 400 years of life — so many coffee cups were served across TMR resorts this winter that, with one coffee cup per day, they would last a skier for nearly 400 years. Starting today, that final cup would be enjoyed sometime around the year 2400.
Tea or hot chocolate? The never-ending battle between the two winter favourites had different winners across the resorts. Tea came out on top in Jasná, the High Tatras, Špindlerův Mlýn and Mutters, while hot chocolate proved most popular in Szczyrk, Mölltal and Ještěd.
Visitors in Jasná drank the most tea overall — more than 33,000 cups during the season.
Pizza was the most popular dish in Tatranská Lomnica, where visitors consumed an average of more than 60 pizzas per day throughout the season.
