“Collisions of skiers and grooming machines which groom the slopes after 4:00pm have been causing unpleasant moments in all our ski resorts. The consequences are mostly fatal. That is why we try to educate people everywhere and every time we can. Last year in late December, we established ski patrols that monitor the slopes and look after the safety of our skiers. Night ski tours with a professional guide aim to educate ski touring beginners but also occasional fans of this sport and give their uncontrollable movement on night slopes the right direction,“ explains Matej Hulej, the director of the Jasná mountain resort.
