The Dragon Craze event begins in the area of Biela Púť with interesting activities. “All participants will meet with their guides at the start which is next to the lower chairlift station. They can warm themselves up with the Fun Kids Academy and launch their Dragon expedition combined with treasure hunt along the ski piste of Biela Púť up to the Twinliner funicular. A new adventurous workbook will be officially presented at the interchange station of Priehyba. There will be sports games, face painting, a bungee trampoline and an educational station of the Slovak Forests focused on the protection and discovering of nature,” said Jana Kňavová from the resort of Jasná. Demian the Dragon will be woken up after its winter sleep on Mt. Chopok at noon sharp and spit the first fire of this season. Kids who collect the most stamps and stickers on their Dragon Cards will be rewarded with small presents.

“Dragon Park Chopok is not a closed park but an amusing journey with cableways and various tasks prepared at all lower and upper stations. A map inside the workbook helps children find individual stations and complete the tasks. Metal sculptures of dragons welcome small explorers at ten locations and present specific tasks to them, which makes the Dragon Park very special. The mini dragons have been made by blacksmith Vladimír Eperješi, who created Demian on Mt. Chopok too. Each of the dragons is original. People can have a picture with them taken to remember their great time in Jasná,” added Ms. Kňavová.

Dragon Park Chopok workbooks are available free of charge at the information centre in Biela Púť and at ticket offices in Biela Púť, Záhradky and Krupová. The amusing Maxiland park with a fixed 4-platform trampoline, a bouncy castle and a children´s merry-go-round will be opened in the area of Biela Púť from 9th June. Holidayers can relax with table tennis and table ice hockey. Fans of endless fun will love mountain cart downhill along the piste of Biela Púť or on the southern side of the mountain in the area of Krupová. Please read more about summer activities HERE.
