The giant slalom Hero Season Trophy race will have one round and five categories: men, women, children, juniors and elite. Skiers as well as snowboarders and competitors with snow bikes are welcome in the area of Štrbské Pleso on the Interski ski piste on 17th March, in Tatranská Lomnica on the Čučoriedky Západ Audi arena piste on 24th March and in Jasná on piste no. 1 on 31st March. All competitions begin at 11:00am. There will be great après-ski entertainment with professional DJs and dancers on the slope. Every winner in each category will be crowned the hero of the season officially, win the Hero Season Trophy and also a Smart Season Pass for the next season of 2018/19. The race sections of the giant slalom courses are about 400 metres long. The results should be announced officially at 01:30pm. In addition, the best Hero Season Trophy racer of Jasná will get a chance to compete with Veronika Velez-Zuzulová on 7th April, when our most successful skier will say goodbye to her fans and finish her skiing career. Although the winter is already shaking hands with the spring, the ski resorts in the High Tatras still offer very good snow conditions. In Štrbské Pleso, there is 65 cm of snow on the pistes these days, Starý Smokovec has 50 cm of snow and Tatranská Lomnica 65 – 155 cm. The resort of Jasná guarantees 40 – 80 cm on both sides of Mt. Chopok. Petra Vlhová, a great Slovak skier is going to have an autograph session at the Crystal bar in the Centre of Jasná in the area of Biela Púť on 22nd March at 02:00pm. This is a precious opportunity for her fans to meet Petra in person. Jasná will be also hosting a special snowboarding event and a non-traditional competition called Helter Skelter in the DC snow park in the area of Brhliská on 24th March, with a banked slalom and a freestyle round. The jury will be measuring the best times and focusing mainly on the quality of freestyle tricks.
