Liptovský Mikuláš (5th February 2025) – Tatry mountain resorts, a.s. (TMR) has defended its 3rd place in the nationwide survey called Slovakia‘s Most Attractive Employer. In the 13th edition, the company confirmed its previous year’s position in the Tourism, Gastronomy and Hospitality category.
“We are doing our best to restore the status of tourism as an attractive career path and to present it as a promising industry. We provide our employees with stable jobs, fair remuneration and career growth opportunities, but always aim to offer something extra – an attractive working environment, regular wage increases, benefits at our facilities and resorts, support for local communities. We not only strive to recognise the long-term dedication of our employees but also invest in training future colleagues through dual education programmes. Our company is committed to employing talented, motivated and loyal individuals who are ready to maximise their potential,” said Marek Schwarz, HR Director at TMR.A list of current job vacancies can be found at pracujvtmr.sk and profesia.sk.
The Slovakia’s Most Attractive Employer survey is organised by Alma Career Slovakia. Its goal is to highlight and present the attractiveness of employers, providing real insights into how job seekers and potential employees in Slovakia perceive companies, their benefits and their image. In this year’s edition, the survey received a record number of 131,319 votes from the public.
Voters most frequently gave the team and the workplace atmosphere as the primary reason for selecting an employer as the most attractive one. Other key factors included the company’s reputation, job security and long-standing tradition, competitive salaries and benefits, career growth opportunities and the quality of services or products.
“There have been several enhancements to the survey in the 13th year of its existence, such as unique votes and the reveal of the jury’s composition during the voting process to ensure maximum transparency. The survey aims to reflect the real state of the job market. Together with our partners, we have once again created a ranking that serves as a positive benchmark for companies operating in Slovakia, which makes me very happy,” added Patrícia Valachovičová, the Head of International Business at Alma Career Slovakia, responsible for the survey.
