The ski resorts in the Tatras are happy about piles of natural now. Perfectly groomed slopes on both sides of Mt. Chopok, in Tatranská Lomnica and Štrbské Pleso offer from 50 to 150 cm of snow and very good conditions for skiing. The best idea is to begin the expedition right on a slope which is literally on the doorstep of a hotel room. This means ski in and ski out hotels are just perfect. One can even save up to 20% with their special offers or have 2 children stay for free with 2 adults. The offers of TMR hotels pay off for big families as well. They can get another room for their kids with 25% off. While adults enjoy sunlit slopes, their offspring can be taken care of in the biggest ski kindergarten called Maxiland. Children and all beginners who try skiing for the first time in their life have special conveyor belts instead of ski lifts at disposal. Professional animators and Yetti the Snowman guarantee a lot of fun while learning the basics. And kindergarten children can play with professional babysitters in the indoor fun park of the Chamois Land in Skalnaté Pleso. Besides skiing, the ski resorts offer various attractions such as great adrenaline fun for families with fun tools or with obstacles and a tunnel in the Fun zone. Fun on the slopes is moved literally to a higher level here. In the evening, skis can be changed for a skifox, a snowscoot, a snowbike, snow tubing, skates on an ice ring in Jasná or sledges on the longest sledging track in Starý Smokovec. There is a rich aprés-ski programme with great music available on the slopes during the day and attractive evening family shopping in Jasná combined with mulled wine tasting. And “big boys” can enjoy an exciting four-wheeler expedition with current BMW models on special obstacle courses. Trips to a real gourmet heaven are available after dark. The Tatra Dinner of Experiences or the Full Moon Dinner on top of Mt. Chopok guarantee an unforgettable culinary evening for the whole family. To finish great days full of activities, one can enjoy pleasant relaxation in thermal water of the nearby Aquapark Tatralandia or in a new outdoor bio sauna for children. And last but not least, the night begins in the Happy End club, which is the centre of entertainment in the Low Tatras and a real jewel of the club scene.
